Back Again.

I am finally back in Asia! Hong Kong is as cold as I remember it. My throat is totally irritated for some reason. Some say it's the pollution. I find myself always thirsty. Some say because winter here is dry.

I slept on the plane this time. the flight was almost 15 hours. I slept through 10 hours of it or so. I missed the first meal, the snack, all the good movies... and the boredom! Wish I could have been in the upper class seats. That's gotta be awesome. But us poor people have to do with economy class. Sucks to be unrich. :)

I really want a new phone! But aside from not having funds, I have no idea what phone is good enough to replace my old one. What's wrong with gadgets today, I can't seem to find good reasons to get one. They're all bad.

Busy Weesey.

I have this itch to do some reviews about some gadgets that I recently purchased. But I have no time! I have two weeks left before school ends! And I still have a TON of work to do. And I do mean a TON! For a short rundown of the things that I need to finish in two weeks: 3 books, a term paper that's designed into a book, study for history finals and an accordion booklet. Nice. Time to work again. See ya!

Peeking Back...

Oooooh... I didn't realize that I still have a blog site. It's been a while, eh. Well, not to worry... I shall update this site. I'm gonna write about the new gadgets that I have and would want to have. Hehehe. It's so hard to be addicted to these things. It's a complete waste of money! But money is of no use unless you spend it! So spend spend and spend! Anybody care to donate money to me? I have no more to spend. It's for a good cause! The more you give, the more you'll receive! So GIVE ME!!!

Nerd Terd.

It's sunday night. I just finished the weekend doing assignments. I've been working since Friday! What the hell is this? I never worked like this in school before! Am I enjoying myself? You bet! Well, sorta... kinda. I still have tons to do. Mid terms is coming up for history class. I just finished two major projects for Graphic Design and Type. I now have to start on that histroy term paper and test. I also need to finish up 3 rolls of film for Photography class. Oh, crap... I still need to do that video for my friend's wedding in Nov! I'm gonna die! So why do I still have time to do this blog? Because if indeed I do die, atleast people will know why.

Last week, we went to this diner down at San Francisco. And guess what, that diner was the inspiration for the game Diner Dash! Awesome! I don't play the game myself, but I know some people who do. And yeah, that Chinese lady took our orders and served us meals. Food's not bad at all. I don't know if the picture will show in maximum resolution though. I just took that off my phone. Darla's Cafe is the name.

Pods and Fingers.

Have you guys heard the news? A few days ago, Apple filed a lawsuit against some companies that use the term 'pod' in their products or names. This includes a plethora of companies and names like Podcast Ready. Apple filed patents in the US and abroad claiming that only they can use the word 'pod' for their products. Whoa... how 'cool' do they think they are? What about pea pods, tripods and escape pods? What next... claim that the word 'apple' is yours? Maybe we need to rename the fruit now or farmers might get sued next by Apple lawyers! Steve Jobs, I think your head is just too big already.

I just got word that we won't go ice skating tomorrow anymore. Because some of us are going to the hospital because a friend of ours just cut his finger in the furniture shop class from working while too tired. OMG... that is scary. Not only don't I want my finger or fingers to get cut, but I know the guy too! I really was considering to take that class, too. Now, I don't think I will. I still don't know the whole story, I just hope he'll be fine. They can attach the fingers back now, I think... I do hope medical technology would advance at an even faster rate. It'd be cool to have medical technology like Star Trek. Okay, I think I'm too nerdy. Hey, which reminds me... you guys should see this cool video by Weird Al.

To Be or Not To Be.

Scientist.

Musician.

Comic Artist/Writer.

Director.

Illustrator.

Writer.

Architect.

Photographer.

Industrial Designer.

Graphic Designer.

That is the order of things that I want to be ever since I was a kid. What's the odd one in that list? The first one, of course. It's the only one that's not in the field of arts. Wow... does that make me an artist then? I have no idea. All kids want to be a scientist back in the days... I mean, every super hero is a scientist one way or the other: Batman, Hulk, Spider-man, Ironman, Mr. Fantastic, Egon Spengler, Donatello, Dexter, etc! Haha... funny when you think about it.

I really am confused. I was a confused child. And am now a confused adult. I'm done with Biology. I'm done with Architecture. And now I'm in Graphic Design and Photography. What next? If money was not an issue in this world... I bet I'd be a film director. That has been my dream for a long, long time!

Right now, I am surrounded by artists of all kinds. Here is a picture of our hallway... just outside my door. To enumerate, in that hallway alone, there are sculptors, painters, industrial designers, photographers, architects, interior designers, graphic desginers, musicians, writers, film directors and illustrators. Amazing if you think about it.

I just hope I get some of their creativeness. I wish that it's contageous.
